Anna Lu, No Longer Two

Anna had a really great birthday.  For days leading up to her big day, we would turn around and she would just be holding up three fingers.  She was either very excited to turn three or supporting the rebellion in the Hunger Games.  Two days of celebrating and now our little Anna is no longer two.

Birthday Eve at Aunt Beth's

Oh man - that kid is so cute

Cake time

A present from Cameron

We had to buy a Latina baby to get a baby that had brown eyes

She loved it...

...but Brooklyn loves babies and swiped it quickly

You have a little somethin' somethin' on your face there Sweetheart

Brooklyn is such a mooch

Birthday!  Who knew a 99 cent toy could get this kind of smile out of a kid - "Can he sleep in my bed?"

Lovin' life

Not sure what Mae is doing, but Anna is ready for piƱata time!

Facetiming Grandma and Grandpa to watch their gift in action...and I have no idea why Brooklyn walks like that sometimes

Anna's first crack at it

Stay back on that back foot, Mae!

Got it!

Victory

She really was happy and had a great day!

Rain Drama

Mae wanted a raincoat to go play with her friends out in the rain.  Off she went.  Anna wanted the same thing.  Off she went.  We had no similar jacket for Brooklyn, but we sent her out there anyway.  Brooklyn loves water.  But when it started to pour cats and dogs, Mae didn't quite grasp that...

Having an overprotective big sister isn't the worst thing in the world now is it? =)

Tire Blowout

I have seen flat tires, but I've never seen a tire look like this.  One minute I'm sitting at a light, the next I'm trying to figure out why my car won't stay on the road.  When I saw my tire, it was one of the craziest flat tires I've ever seen.  Luckily, I would need new tires this fall/winter anyway.

All About That Brook

Even though she tried to dominate the wedding pictures, this post is just random shots of our little Brook, Brookster, the B-ster, the Beast, Brookyn, Brooky, Brokelyn, the Cookie - yes, Brooklyn.

Sorry sucker, there's no dishes for you to yank out of there

She LOVES babies

Let's just hope she doesn't carry real ones around like that

She loves to eat

Pretty blue eyes

Sometimes she eats so long that this happens

But then she wakes up and eats some more

And then there's her sisters

What's on that kid's shirt?

Impressive that Mae could get her to wear a tiara long enough to get a picture of it

Brooklyn looks lucky Chucky in this picture - and Anna, well, she looks like something other than herself

This one is a little better

Post-Wedding Family Time

After being completely exhausted the day after the wedding, we still made it down for one last hurrah before everyone began to depart.

When Anna's the normal one in the picture, you know the other two must be crazy

My girls with Great Grandma Spjut

Brooklyn is...crying?  Laughing?  Smiling?

Brooklyn with Great Grandma B-bop and Aunt Randy

There are a lot of girls in my life these days

Wedding Day for the Chuckster and Glenn

Any wedding day is crazy, but when you have three little girls 4 and under, things can tend to be even crazier.  Mae redefined crazy by the end of the night.  Regardless, it was a great day and we're very happy for Glenn and Jackie.

The last picture we took - before we lost our camera!  Luckily, it was found before we were late to the ceremony

Brooklyn trying to figure out how to get around in that dress

Dang - how did Lindsey get Mae's hair to stay like that?

Congrats to the Curioso's

The chaos

Brooklyn always tries to steal the spotlight

Still working on getting around in that dress

Nieces and nephews

Trying to figure out Karla

So cute

The Spjuts (and a Schlensker and now a Curioso)

Did anyone even notice the groom not in the last picture - don't worry Glenn, no one noticed me at my wedding either

Sisters

Spjut girls

Touching the temple

So pretty - even with the weird smile

Ring ceremony

Brooklyn seems to have gotten one on one pictures with just about everyone over the course of the day

Oh, and I completely sugared Mae up, if you don't believe me...

 ...see for yourself

Anna had lots of sugar, but she was too tired to be out of her mind

Suzanne just became Brooklyn's new favorite aunt

Tracey didn't want any of our children, so she's having her own

Dancing with Max

Brooklyn loves babies

Poor Audrey

At least sure was a good sport about it - and lived through it
