Cabo San Lucas Day 6: Coming Back to Our Girls

We had a REALLY great time in Cabo, but we were more than ready to see our girls! -T

Breakfast in the 4:00 hour

Lindsey was always eating dessert (that's not true, she was usually drinking a fruity drink)!  Chocolate Mousse for breakfast

Not everyone came to the airport prepared - of course Scott took forever at check-in trying to get both of his suitcases under 50 lbs each - he transferred stuff in from suitcase to suitcase about 3 times

Leaving on time?  We'll take it (finally)

Not all of Cabo was "paradise" - most is just kind of lifeless dessert

Home with our girls!

I think they were happy to see us too

Gifts for the girls

There was a reason I had this jacket randomly on again

Cabo San Lucas Day 5: Marlins and Awards

We were up when it was still dark and headed out deep sea fishing.  We were told this was the marlin mecca  of the world.  Not much was biting, but we did see a whale in the distance, a shark briefly, and then the one marlin we ended up catching.  We were glad we drugged ourselves before we left because it was SO rough and constant.  Because we only had one real chance at a fish, only one of us in our group of 6 was able to reel anything in.  The rest of the day we spent relaxing until the Breg Awards Ceremony.  It was a little awkward being inducted into the President's Club when I really don't do anything with Breg, but the jacket is nice. -T

The start of the sunrise
Getting on our boat

Let's get it on!

Rough rough ride

The Dramamine is doing it's job so far

Who knew Smalls was on our boat

I think we got something...atta way Smalls!

That would be a marlin

To our surprise they just started beating it over his head...rough
Just about got him

He was about 6-7 feet long

So what now?
Picture time!
Lindsey wanted no part of a picture
Sucker's nose was sharp

She's still happy...but keeping her distance

They told us beforehand that they would throw back any marlins caught

They lied

Well I guess they did throw his head and shell of a body back

Then at the end...we were attacked by sea lions!  Actually, just one sea lion,  and we weren't attacked, he just wanted a handout

Another REALLY good lunch at the Peninsula

Best burrito we've ever had

Awards Night

Part of the golf course we didn't play
We just love social hour

Us

Us and everyone else

Dinner

The wives were given a gift

Not a bad deal

Happy to be there

No pictures were taken of my "induction,' so here's me sportin' my President's Club jacket later on...weird

On our first evening earlier in the week, a guy on the street tried to get Lindsey to buy a rose made out of a palm leaf.  She assured him over and over again that she didn't have any money(that was true, we were not carrying any), but she was so sweet about it and said how much he loved it that he ended up giving it to her anyway.  Maybe Lindsey should be a salesman.

Cabo San Lucas Day 4: A Day To Ourselves

We were signed up for the "shopping trip" in downtown Cabo, but bypassed that for just a day to ourselves. We just ate, got fruity drinks, ate, read, relaxed, and ate some more. -T

Breakfast at the Vina del Mar

If plates ever were unattended, the birds were on it

Enjoying the day

Morning in Cabo

Oh look...a lizard.
Eating at the Peninsula

Lunchtime already?

If you haven't caught on yet, the theme of this trip was "fruity drinks"
Love the pirate ship

Poolside

Moved up to some shade

Still a nice view

We got WAY too much food at the Vina del Mar for dinner...but we still had our "fruity drinks"

So stuffed

Calling it a night

Listening to the band before bed
