Here is just a post with some random shots that's hard not to look at and laugh. -T

I'm not sure what she's laughing at, but it must be absolutely hysterical.  I have yet to look at this pictures without "lol"

Fort Knox Comes to Loveland

With the biggest back yard in the neighborhood and a front yard with a mega tree, we have no shortage of fall leaves.  This year was a little different though because trees held their leaves longer for some reason and then seemingly all came down at once.  Normally, I can just mulch the back yard and then dump the leaves.  Well, this year the backyard was just TOO thick to do that so we had to do some raking in the backyard and not just the front and sides like we typically do.  Also, with all the clean out spots we had, we are running out of places to dump leaves in the back so it all got transported to the front.  Bottomline was after hours of work we had one MASSIVE leaf pile ready to play in.  Mae was in leaf heaven! Anna, well, she's got better things to do. -T

Lettuce Have a Snack

We've always thought Mae was strange in her love for fruits and vegetables.  However, this might have topped everything else when she saw lettuce in the fridge and wanted it as a snack.  Then later that night before bed, she wanted more of it.  Weird. -T

Growing Family Dying Bushes

Our annual family pictures with our two beautiful Fall bushes has turned into one pretty bush and one dead bush.  We still have no idea why the one died.  Nevertheless, we still have two very beautiful girls that can more than make up for it. This was the first time we actually had someone take the picture (Aunt Jackie) and it wasn't set up on a chair and timer. -T

A Hair Too Much

So Mae might have found her calling in life - hair styling.  Who better to practice on than Anna's crazy hair? -T

Vacation/Project Day 4

After we FINALLY covered the cords to the TV, it was onto painting.  This is the last day we took pictures, but the other 2 days after this we did do some odds and ends kind of projects.  Day 4 though was dedicated to painting the shutters and columns.  They looked so much better and after a few days of having the creepy house, we were back to respectability in the neighborhood. -T



Some things are so simple yet take years to finally get done.

Halloween

A second consecutive year of trick or treating in the rain.  Although the rain was worse this year, the wind and cold were worse last year so in the end, it was probably better this year.  We still took our little lion and Little Red Riding Hood out and had a lot of fun!  Although, I believe they were more excited about all the dogs they were able to pet moreso than the candy they got.  Here's how the conversation at people's homes with dogs typically went:  "Mae: Trick or Treat!"  Dog Owner: "Oh, Little Red Riding Hood and a lion!  (Insert name of dog here), stay back!"  Mae: "Can I touch him?"  No one could ever say no. -T

Looking back we should have said Anna was a wolf - that would have been perfect!
