I Must Be a Snitch, Cuz I Got Stitched

So after years of having a Dermatofibroma on my leg, and a met deductible, I decided to get it removed.  A red scar, is a better than a red bump that kids like to dig their nail into.  I left work and an hour later, I was bandaged and good to go.

Festival of Lights

After a year off because Lindsey was large with child, we headed back to the Festival of Lights.  Grandma Weez sat this one out to rest her knee so on a misty, cool day, we headed to the Zoo with Papa D.  It didn't disappoint. -T

Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like friggin' bee!

So after Mae got stung by a bee, I had my turn.  I was just cutting the grass like normal and he was waiting. -T

It didn't look like this until a couple days later

My Birthday

So as a birthday gift to myself, I took files from the last 7 years to our storage unit.  It was hot and I was dripping sweat, but I enjoyed the organization project - and getting these dang things OUT of the office.  It's not pictured but I did get a great birthday eve dinner and celebration at Grandma Weez's and Papa D's, and on my birthday I got dinner out with Lindsey.  It was a very good day+! -T

Rockin' Around the Christmas Paths

One of my Christmas presents was to fill the rock pathways in the backyard with rocks!  I've been clamoring for it for a couple years and FINALLY Lindsey gave her consent.  I guess after waiting multiple years for it, I could wait 3+ additional months to actually receive the gift!  I love it! -T

Very thin on rocks

Lots of spaces to be filled

It went from looking like this...

...to this!  Yea!

It looks better!

SO much better!

Brooklyn Comes Home

After two nights at the hospital, Mom was more than ready to come home.  Brooklyn's sisters were more than ready to welcome them.  -T

The checkout part seems to always take so long!

Brooklyn...meet the sun

First outdoor experience - sunny and fa-reezing!

Mae couldn't wait to get her hands on her

Anna joins the welcome party

Sleeping right through the barrage - that's what we like to see!

If we would have asked one of them to be cute and one of them to be scary...they would have been doing exactly what we asked them to!

C'mon Brook!

I think the blanket makes one look a lot taller than she really is

Mae just loves to be near Brooklyn

February 26, 2014 - The Arrival

1:25 6cm said should be within hour and Lindsey very itchy from epidural
1:35 8cm
1:47 9cm
1:55 9cm just about complete
2:07 10 cm holding baby in
2:14 Brooklyn Faith Arrives

Things picked up...they picked up fast.  We had to wait for Dr. Yang to get done delivering another baby for a few minutes and in that few minutes, our nurse Dani, had to hold the baby in from just walking out on her own.  So Lindsey went from pushing twice with Mae, to one 1/2 of push with Anna, and no pushing with Brooklyn.  Where does she go from here?  Regardless, we were so thrilled to welcome Brooklyn Faith to our family. -T
