4th of July Festivities

After pizza at Grandma Weez and Papa D's, we headed to the annual Madeira Independence Day Parade.  Despite the loud trucks, the girls loved it and loved getting candy and flags.  The next day (on the actual 4th), we had some outdoor water fun.  It was the first full-on water experience for Ash and she loved it.  She slipped and fell all over the slip 'n slide, and it was hilarious.  It never phased her.  We had a great time celebrating our freedom in this country!

Memorial Day 2017

We had a lot of fun celebrating Memorial Day.  We spent the early afternoon with our ward at Symmes Park for our picnic and then it was a touch chilly when the sun wasn't beating down, but we still got to the back yard for some water fun.  At the end of the day we are grateful for the freedoms to have days together like this because of those who went before and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Mother's Day Magic

We had a wonderful day celebrating the mother of our family.  It was a great day to praise our own mothers and mothers everywhere.

Valentine's

On Valentine's Eve, I took the older 3 girls to Graeter's.  It took them awhile to eat it but it was a good time.  Mom stayed at home with Ashley and was still covering - just 2 days after coming home from the hospital.  We considered ourselves lucky to be there that night.  For FHE - Valentine's Edition - we played Spin the Bottle of course.  No kissing though - just compliments. =)

Happy times

Christmas 2016

Christmas morning we got to spend we Kylee.  With Christmas on Sunday, after our Christmas morning festivities we headed to church for a wonderful Sacrament Meeting.  Brooklyn fell asleep on the way, and woke up on the way home.  We headed to the Poe's for a nice lunch and time with them, Grandma Weez, Papa D, and Uncle Dale.  Then we had a nice "peaceful" Christmas evening together.  It was a great Christmas and a great day!
