Memorial Day 2017

We had a lot of fun celebrating Memorial Day.  We spent the early afternoon with our ward at Symmes Park for our picnic and then it was a touch chilly when the sun wasn't beating down, but we still got to the back yard for some water fun.  At the end of the day we are grateful for the freedoms to have days together like this because of those who went before and made the ultimate sacrifice.

She could do this for hours

She loves the sand

She loves to eat - and grab your phone when you take pictures of her

Bad Habits in the Park

Mom and the girls met up with Grandma and Grandpa at Washington Park for some end of summer fun.  They girls really enjoyed themselves.  A nice couple even let Mae hold the leash and walk their dog.  That was a BIG highlight.  However, now she expects everyone she sees to let her hold their leash and walk their dog. Oh, and Anna got soaked and Lindsey forgot she's not from Kentucky. -T

Who's the redneck baby!?  This nice couple was pretty generous with their dog and just to clarify - the car with a dry shirt was not close

Nevermind the red neck baby with the pot belly, check out the guy...look at the size of that dude's arms! (You're welcome, Anna)

Outside Spring Fun

Mom makes everyday fun, but days to the park are usually at the top of the list. Then top it off with dessert (fruit) afterwards?  "We have the best mom!" -T

Oh look, Mom can just sit and watch now

It's really not that fun, huh Mae?

"Look at the camera, Anna!"

Getting both of them to look at the camera just isn't going to happen

A famous Anna face

A little more daring than Mae was at this age

She loves it

And at least Mae loves it now

What could be more thrilling in a park than the slides?

I guess we just found out

"Bufferflies"

"Ya see it, Mom?"

Is she worn out from the park or from picking all these strawberries?

Homegrown strawberries - good work, Mom!
