Cabo San Lucas Day 2: Arrival (finally) and Dinner Cruise

Our flight out of L.A. left ON TIME and we got to Cabo (on United Airlines) with no issues.  We checked on our luggage before we left Dallas and it was just a mess.  We were told by one person they were still in Cincinnati, by another the day before they'd fly with us to L.A., and another that they were still in Dallas.  It was to our utter amazement that they were sitting there waiting for us when we arrived in Mexico.  We still don't know when they came in or how/what airline but we had them and it was game on!  We didn't have much time once we got to our resort: Fiesta Americana but we enjoyed at the very least a nice shower and a change of underwear (Lindsey had one in LA, I did not).  It was then time for the scheduled dinner cruise which we enjoyed the fruity drinks (Lindsey had been most excited about this with this trip), the food, and the sites.  It was good to be there! -T

Tired, but happy to leave L.A. in our free new LA gear!  We each  bought a new t-shirt and I bought new swim trunks and Lindsey a new sweatshirt - compliments of American Airlines

"Are you kidding?  These are ours?"

Hello Cabo!  We have luggage!

Lindsey's always dreamed of arriving at an airport with someone waiting for us with a sign with her name on it.  Although it didn't say "Schlensker," she was satisfied with this.  The head guy of our transportation crew was cool enough to pose with us too.

We made it!  Our first picture from our room...

...and the first picture of the view from our room!
Dinner Cruise - Lindsey loved that we got on board and were instantly given "fruity drinks"

I don't even like coconut, but as the only non-alcoholic fruity drink they had at the time, I just went with it - bottoms up Pina Coladas!

We always love the social time

We actually did love the scenery

This is a famous rock in Cabo - it was hard to hear all the facts being said about it

I think I saw this rock when I Google searched Cabo San Lucas

Famous or not...it is pretty cool

Can't say this would be a bad place to live if I were a seal

Couples picture time!

It was so windy you almost had to sit or stand holding something - that guy on the right just has superb balance

I tried 4 times to get these waves crushing this rock, but I failed.  This was the closest I got.

When do we get to go on THAT boat (we didn't)?

The Breg crew

Mexico!

Even though we really were enjoying ourselves, we still thought about our girls - oh how Mae would have loved the pirate ship!
The last picture of everyone before they lost their dignity

Ah boy: General rule: If you can't dance, don't.

Our boat

Got back to our room - the TV was on with soothing music and fish swimming on the screen - and robes and slippers by our bedside
