I Must Be a Snitch, Cuz I Got Stitched

So after years of having a Dermatofibroma on my leg, and a met deductible, I decided to get it removed.  A red scar, is a better than a red bump that kids like to dig their nail into.  I left work and an hour later, I was bandaged and good to go.

And the months keep rollin' along.  The good news about 5 months is she started sleeping threw the night FINALLY!

Labor Day Fun

With Lindsey ALWAYS being up on our preparedness, we bought a tent.  On Labor Day weekend we set it up, made s'mores, and camped in the backyard.  Okay, we didn't camp, but we did play games in the tent...in the dark.  It was a good time.

We had the once in a lifetime opportunity to join sisters and a cousin all on one team.  As part of the Pink Watermelons - Anna, Mae, and Nathan dominated.  They took no prisoners.

A forever treasure

The Long Awaited Day of K for Mae

For years, Mae has wanted so badly to go to school.  Finally her day came - 1st day of Kindergarten AND first time to ride the bus.  With her shy demeanor, we wondered how she would ACTUALLY do (talk's cheap), but she crushed it.  The bus THOUGHT she picked her up - but we had to make a call and have her come back and get her.  So, she ended up being late on her first day.  Her teacher was Mrs. Ritz the first couple weeks, but they asked for volunteers for a new class with Mrs. Jones and we had no reason not to be helpful.  Mae took it in stride and loves going to school and loves Mrs. Jones.

Cousin Conference

Stake Conference was the easiest it's ever been with kids.  We sat behind the Poe's who were in the 1st row of chairs in the back section of the gym.  Add in the Spjut's and boom - Schlensker-Poe-Spjut territory.  Throw in Aunt Beth holding Ashley and boom - best Stake Conference ever with kids.  We even had other kids come and join the fun.
